Chances are you’re also heading into 2017 with a sense that we’re stepping into an unfamiliar (or maybe too-familiar, depending on your read of history) new world.

Let’s step into one of our own creation, the one we’ve been dreaming and building together these last few years.

We’re ready to hit the ground running in 2017, making a neighborly global economy that values everyone. By everyone we mean the 100%, really and truly, across all kinds of boundaries, color, creed, and class. It’s up to us to make it happen and we, collectively, know how.

Please join us!

You can start by participating in one of our upcoming orientation web meetings.

We have scheduled one for Saturday, January 21 at 12noon CST. Please reply to this message to let me know if you can make that time.

If you can’t make it on 1/21, please help schedule the other one (or two if we need more diverse times) by filling in this poll. Note that the time zone is Central Standard (Chicago) time.
Learn how Mutual Aid Networks work so you can become involved. Interested in joining HUMANs, the global cooperative to help support and build a neighborly global economy? Learn how to join, and the rights and responsibilities of membership.

Interested in developing a MAN pilot project? Learn how to turn your existing project into a MAN pilot or start from scratch. Get joined with a mentor pilot site.

We’ll also be inviting new participation in our work groups – Technical, Legal, Social, Financial, and Communications. Think about ways you’d like to contribute your talents and we’ll be happy to bring you in.

Thanks for all your interest and support. We look forward to seeing a lot more action and development in 2017.

Enjoy your winter days and we look forward to connecting more in the new year
